Orlando Flooring Project: Lexus of Orlando

Located on a 25-acre lot near Universal Orlando Resort, you’ll find the newly constructed, Lexus of Orlando — a two-story, 175,000-square-foot facility that exuberates elegance, charm, and oh yeah.. EVERYTHING LEXUS.

About the Project: Matching Design With Performance

As the primary flooring provider of the $2.4-million-dollar project, our team was brought on board in September of 2017 to provide all facility flooring (service area, showroom, offices, break areas, restrooms, exterior drives, and walkways) — nearly 155,000-square-feet in total. Products consisted of carpet tile, LVT, ESD tile, rubber tile, cork, wood, Altro Whiterock, porcelain tile, and granite.

Project demands and challenges included the logistics of materials and obtaining the appropriate manpower to handle the schedule of the job.

Our Flooring Solutions and Results

With the size of this Lexus project, we needed to coordinate the delivery of various materials directly to the job site which took quite a bit of pre-planning. Coordinating the materials to arrive at the correct stages of the project was crucial to delivering a smooth installation process. Having a full-time, in-house, field superintendent was also key in bridging the expectations of the general contractor along with the installation workforce – in both quantity and quality.
