Tenant Improvement
In an ever-growing market segment in the Dallas Metroplex, City Place, an upscale residential complex with retail shops on the ground level was constructed. The job began and ended with long construction delays and more than its share of problematic conditions, which we of course inherited.
During the construction process the building flooded on multiple occasions. Due to the flooding and ultimate damage caused, the flooring had to be reinstalled several times. Through the challenges and delays in the overall construction, Spectra-Dallas under Walt Kurtz' direction kept pace with the revised installation schedule installing over 17,000 SY of broadloom carpet over pad, 1,020 SF cork flooring, 18,000 SF vinyl tile and 27,000 SF of hardwood flooring.
As a direct result of our efforts on this project, the general contractor of record has given us the opportunity to negotiate similar work in other parts of Texas.
